Everyone loves a puppy, but as the dog grows older, there sometimes is a stigma associated with adopting adult dogs. There are many benefits to adopting an older dog. Occasionally, we have adult dogs for adoption. Whether they are retiring show dogs, or puppies that had been saved as show potentials, they will make wonderful pets, now needing placement. They are all in need of loving caring homes. Other times, we might be fostering a dog from a rescue situation. Cost of adoption varies depending on level of training, age, medical expenses and time invested in rehab, etc.

Many of times, the dog will already be house trained, crate trained, leash walking trained, doggie door trained, have some basic obedience skills, be grooming compliant, shots up-to-date, possibly for up to 3 years, already be spayed or neutered, current on heart worm, flea, tick and worm preventatives.
