Lacee and Karen taking it all, for a major win. Lacee won Best of Breed over 2 Champion Special dogs and all of the other non-champion dogs to receive her first major win towards her championship. AKC Championships require 15 points with 2 Major wins, meaning the value of showing that day was either a 3-pt., 4-pt., or 5-pt. win. The amount of points received is determined by how many havanese show up to compete that day. Typically, our dogs start their show careers once they are 6 months old, however, Lacee was not able to continue showing after her first show due to COVID. COVID closed all the dog shows for several years. This win is VERY significant as it was her first show after COVID in 3 years, her first points, and she took it all for the breed. Way to go Lacee and Karen!
